Centered on Nuremberg with the surrounding countryside pictorially presented. The map is decorated with a large title cartouche surmounted by the trumpeting, female representation of Fame. The cartouche is composed of engraving and book binding tools representing the major trade of Nuremberg. At right is a large inset plan of the city with a key to the major buildings. Dutch text on verso, published between 1642-64 in either Toonneel des Aerdrycks or Grooten Atlas.

Full contemporary color on watermarked paper with light printer's ink residue, two small holes on the centerfold at top, and professional repairs to several chips and tears in top blank margin, with two tears just entering map border.
