A lovely map centered on the city of Halle and the surrounding villages. The Saale River is prominently depicted adjacent to the city, and a key locates 90 important sites. Beneath the map is a profile view of the city taken from the west with another key to 17 buildings. Flanking the profile view are illustrations of an academic assembly and salt mining, which had been done in this region for centuries.
