This large and boldly engraved map is centered roughly on Salzburg. It features the region's mountains, rivers, roads, villages, towns, and fortifications. A small inset shows the vicinity of Krems along the Danube River. An architectural cartouche supports the distance scale and a legend. The large, decorative title cartouche features a river god representing the Danube, a sphere with a small map showing Salzburg's location in relation to other important cities in the region, and putti holding aloft numerous coats of arms.
