This 90-page tourist guide was published by the Peiping Chronicle and is written entirely in English. The guide is filled with useful information for visitors and includes numerous illustrations, advertisements, and a small folding map of the walled city at the front of the volume. The map is keyed to a staggering 275 points of interest listed on the pages following the map. Includes two smaller maps on the same sheet showing the vicinity of Beijing and the "Legation Quarter," where foreign embassies were located until World War II. 12mo, pictorial paper wrappers.

The folding map is mostly clean with a 0.75" edge tear at left. Text is very good with minor soiling and a few notations in the margins. Paper wrappers are soiled with manuscript notations and a large chip at bottom right, also affecting the first two pages of text (index and list of advertisers).
