This uncommon double-page map depicts the entire Northwest and extends to Dakota. The state and territory boundaries are as today. The map is filled with topographical and watersheds, but place names are scarce throughout much of the map. Wyoming has five counties, namely Uintah, Sweet Water, Carbon, Albany and Laramie, with no sign of Yellowstone National Park. Idaho has only nine counties and Montana shows eleven. Decorated by a Victorian-style title and scroll border.
