This geological map of the state was originally compiled by J. Volney Lewis and Henry B. Kummel in 1912 and revised by Meredith E. Johnson in 1950. Highly detailed, over 50 different geological types are color-coded to an extensive legend at left organized by type and in chronological order. Features 5 cross-sections at bottom. In addition to the geology, the base map locates towns, cities, townships, railroads, drainage, and more. Issued by the New Jersey Department of Conservation and Economic Development.
