This colorful pictorial map was drawn by Courtland Smith in 1933 and reissued here by the Billboard Barn in 1961. It covers all of Long Island from Brooklyn to Montauk with small illustrations highlighting points of interest including Coney Island, Belmont Park, Jones Beach, the Long Island Railroad, Montauk Light House, and more. A legend at top left further locates radio stations, state parks, ferry lines, and the "main land." Five larger illustrations are featured at top along with a decorative border promoting the region's history, important sites, and natural resources. Decorated by a compass rose, wind head, and scroll title cartouche in the classical style. Printed by the Gerson Offset Lithography Company.
