This elegantly engraved early plan shows Sir Francis Drake's attack on Cartagena. Ships fill the surrounding waters, and units of soldiers skirmish on the outskirts of town. North is oriented to the bottom and the title appears in a drape-like cartouche. On a trimmed sheet of Italian text.
