Written by Mary Sponberg Pedley and published by Map Collector Publications, this is the best published biography of the Robert de Vaugondy family and an important resource with a complete carto-bibliography of the maps published by this important family of French cartographers. An important and scholarly work that was published in a limited edition of 750 copies, this being #650. Hardbound in green cloth with gilt stamped spine, 251 pages, including 8 color and 82 b/w illustrations, illustrated dust jacket protected by Mylar.
