A. English Mapping of America 1675-1715 - An Informal Selection of Printed and Manuscript Maps Produced During the Formative Years of the English Map Trade, by the Mercator Society, published 1986, black & white (6.8 x 9.5"). 22 important English maps of America are illustrated and described, including works by Seller, Blome, Wells, Thornton, and Moll. Gray paper wrappers. Condition: Near fine with very minor sunning along spine and numbers written in the top right corner of the pages in pencil.

B. The De Orbe Novo Collection - Exploration of the New World, 1492-1625, by Bloomsbury Auctions, published 2009, printed color (8.5 x 12.0"). This handsome auction catalogue covers the rare book collection of Americana Exchange publisher Bruce McKinney. This was a blockbuster $3.5 million auction for Bloomsbury Auctions. The book features 81 lots, each illustrated with title pages, engravings, or maps, some of which are in color. Hardbound with illustrated covers. 162 pages. Condition: Contents are clean and tight. Covers have minimal wear.
