This uncommon map displays the early circuit lines of the newly formed AT&T Company (founded in 1885), with telephone lines completed and projected as far west as Texas and the Dakotas along with an inset map of Maine containing the same information. The verso includes a map of the New England service connections (17.3 x 14.8") and illustrations of various early speaking devices. Self-folding (3.7 x 7.8") with a panel showing the “Long Distance Cabinet Sound Proof Booth… [at the] Sign of the Blue Bell.”
