A. Official San Francisco Map, by Louis Roesch Co., dated 1922, printed color (14.9 x 8.6"). A detailed map showing the street-grid pattern of the city with a key at bottom right locating 36 points of interest. Two "wonder" drives are featured in red overprinting, providing a 25-mile driving tour of the city and a 100-mile tour of the broader region. Text above the map promotes the city "where the sun never scorches and the water never freezes." The verso contains small maps of Golden Gate Park, downtown, and the broader region. Published on behalf of the San Francisco Convention and Tourist League. Condition: There is minor extraneous creasing with tiny fold separations that are confined to the blank margins.

This 64-page tourist guide highlights "What to do, Where to go, and How to get there" in the Bay Area. The guide contains a simple centerfold map of San Francisco extending from the Railroad Depot west to Golden Gate Park and the Presido. Interspersed within the text are numerous advertisements along with single-page maps of Oakland, the Bay Region, and "Automobile Roads in California."
