This map of northwestern Austria prominently features the river system and lakes in the region, with the Danube River running from Passau to Ybbs. The map extends to Salzburg in the southwest and to Rottenmann and Waidhofen an der Ybbs in the southeast. The map is filled with tiny towns and the mountainous regions are graphically illustrated. The drape-style title cartouche features a river god and a putto, while several other putti grace the distance scale.
