This superb wall-sized map is a highly detailed bird's-eye plan of Rome. Roads and major sites are named, with hundreds of locations numbered and identified in an extensive index at bottom left. The 14 administrative divisions of Rome, known as "Rioni," are listed at bottom right. Dissected in 36 panels and backed with linen. Based on the work of the General Directorate of Census.

A sharp impression with light soiling and some dampstaining along the edges of some of the dissected panels. There are some small holes and separations in the linen along the folds, and the edges of some of the panels have lifted a bit from the linen. There are some grayish shadows in the images that are caused by our scanner and are not on the map itself. The first image was digitally merged, as the map was too large to be scanned whole; please use the second and third images for zooming in on the map, as these images are higher resolution.
