This dual-language map of Kruger National Park is in English and Afrikaans. The map shows the roads, picnic spots, camp sites, supply stores, petrol stations, native kraals, and hippo pools. An inset at top right details the roads around the Pretoriuskop rest camp, and the round inset at left shows the location of the National Park with southeastern Africa. Images of animals fill the map and serve as a good reminder to "keep to the roads and stay in your car!" Created by Ernest Ullmann, whose imprint at bottom right includes an artist with an easel drawing a giraffe. Ullmann (1900-1975) was born in Germany and emigrated to South Africa in 1935, where he designed ads, was the art director for the journal Forum, and created art works for public buildings.
