The photos and illustrations are in the magnificent tradition of National Geographic and include a folding map of the United States and transparency sheet showing the U.S. on four different scales (it is missing the portfolio and 9 supplemental map sheets). 289 pages including index. Hardbound in blue faux leather, encased in blue slipcase with gilt titles.
