This decorative map of Scandinavia and the Baltic region features great detail. It is richly ornamented with sailing ships, a scale of miles accompanied by the figure of a surveyor, and a splendid title cartouche that includes coats of arms, flags, animals, and sea monsters. French text on verso, published between 1652-58.

Condition: B+

There is light printer's ink residue and repaired short centerfold separations at top and bottom.
