This intricately detailed map spans from Gifhorn, at the confluence of the Ise and Aller rivers, south to Gottingen, and from Minden east to Halberstadt. It identifies numerous towns and cities, including Hanover, Braunschweig (Brunswick), Hildesheim, Wolfenbuttel, and Quedlinburg. The rivers and forests of the region are depicted in fine detail. The title and distance scale cartouche at bottom left incorporates an elaborate coat of arms and a dedication to the Duke of Brunswick and Luneburg.

A nice impression with a light stain that enters map image at bottom, some printer's ink residue, and minor offsetting along the centerfold.
