This handsome map zooms in on the vicinity of Gdansk, Malbork, and Elblag in present-day Poland. There is fascinating detail of the terrain, complete with the names of various towns and cities, fortifications, roads, forests, and grid plans. The Vistula River and its branches are well delineated. Part of the Vistula Spit is shown, dividing Die Oost See from Frische Haff. The decorative title cartouche at top right depicts two gentlemen trading goods. A compass rose orients the north to the left.
