This attractive map of the Eastern Balkans is centered on Bulgaria and includes Macedonia, Serbia, the Bosphorus, and Constantinople. It is based on Gerard Mercator's map of the region. The Danube and its tributaries flow across the map. It is adorned with decorative title and distance scale cartouches, the title festooned with the accoutrements of war and topped with emblem of the Turkish Empire. Spanish text on verso, published between 1659-72.
