A nice pair of views depicting Dubrovnik, Croatia and Chalsis, Greece. The upper view shows the fortified city of Dubrovnik, formerly the center of the Republic of Ragusa. Below is the city of Chalcis (or Chalkida), which was known as Negroponte during the Late Middle Ages.
