Pair of engravings showing the people of the region of the Euphrates River. At left is a bathing scene and at right are a group of men and carrier pigeons with an irrigation pump in the background. Enclosed in an elaborate picture-frame style border.

Condition: A

Impression is a bit weak in the left panel, perhaps intentionally to disguise the nakedness of the people, on paper with a fleur-de-lis watermark. There are two very small holes in the image and marginal foxing.
