A highly detailed chart on two sheets covering the entire coastline of Newfoundland, the southern coast of Labrador, and the Grand Banks. Each sheet is filled with fine navigational detail including depth soundings, shoals, bottom types, offshore islands, and lighthouses identified with yellow hand coloring. Drawn by Miguel Moreno and engraved by C. Noguera. Adorned by the insignia of the Direccion de Hidrografia on both sheets.

Crisp impressions with some light foxing and offsetting. The northern sheet has two edge tears at bottom that just pass the border that have been closed on verso with archival tape. The first image is a composite image - the map is in 2 separate sheets.
