This small map presents two hemispheres on north and south polar projections and features two measurement tools for each hemisphere that can be cut from the sheet and attached to a string at the enter of each sphere to create moving pieces for measurement. The maps only show rudimentary outlines of each continent and the major river systems. California is depicted as an island with an indented northern coast and partial outlines of a large Antarctica are shown.

A dark impression on a bright sheet with original string still securely attached to the sheet and a few spots of foxing mostly confined to the blank margins.
