A nice pair of early double-page Cram maps, each with hand-coloring which is unusual for this time in commercial cartography as most publisher had shifted to more cost effective printed color. Taken together, the two maps encompass all of California, Nevada and Arizona as well as western Utah. Each is filled with excellent detail including railroads, towns and villages, county divisions, mines, watersheds, topography and more. The southern sheet has a single-page map of Alaska on verso.
