This elegant chart focuses on the Gulf of Venice, stretching from the Strait of Otranto north to Venice. Place names appear along the coasts, and anchorages, harbors, and a number of smaller islands are shown. The entire chart is crisscrossed by rhumb lines, and two compass roses orient north to the upper left corner. A decorative title cartouche surrounded by putti completes the composition in the bottom right corner.
