This is a small, uncommon Italian map of North America and is representative of the speculative cartography of the period. The mythical Northwest Passage and Sea of the West are prominently shown along with many spurious lakes in Canada. The possessions of Spain, Britain, and the American colonies are delineated. Colonies such as Virginia and Maryland are identifed, but without any additional boundary details.

There is light dampstaining and scattered foxing that is mostly confined to the blank margins.
