Bold and handsome map of London including the surrounding areas of Kent, Essex, Middlesex and a part of Surrey. The map is filled with great detail showing the various towns, roads, churches and monasteries, castles, parks, marshes, hills, forests and rivers. The fine title cartouche is surmounted with the royal arms and is surrounded by figures including a group of merchants and the mythical figures of Mercury and Fortune.

A sharp impression with contemporary color on a bright, watermarked sheet with a small hole along the border at bottom right and heavy soiling along the edges of the sheet, entering the image a bit at bottom.
