This panoramic pictorial map by G. Blumlein journeys down the Rhine from Cologne to Mainz. Along the banks there is intricate detail of the topography and various towns and cities, with even the smaller towns and cities detailed. Several illustrations of sites of interest line the map, with a special emphasis castles, architecture, and monuments. The map is bookended by views of Cologne (top) and Mainz (bottom). Folds into red cloth covers with gilt title and decorations on cover.
