This fascinating engraving is one of the most interesting cartographic curiosities providing historical information in tabular form. The third plate in the series of four, it depicts the gigantic symbolic figure of an Elector in full robes, which are covered with listings of all the rulers of the Holy Roman Empire, princes, electors, and dukes. At the left is a pillar of heraldic coats of arms and on the right the crown and chair of state.

A fine example with full contemporary color, slight foxing in the blank margins, and a couple of printer's creases in the plate.
