This charming cartograph is centered on a large inset of the Philippine Islands that The inset of the Philippines is superimposed on a map of Eastern and Southeast Asia, and the circumference of the inset lists distances between Manila and other locations in Asia. A note to the right of the inset explains that "There are 7,083 Philippine Islands. 466 are over one square mile in area." Images of indigenous people and important sites fill the map. On verso is a calendar of events for the Philippines, black & white photographic images, and an image of a woman carrying a vase, also by Ruth Taylor White. Published by the Philippine Tourist Association.
