A. Lake Tahoe - "The Lake of the Sky", by Gerald A. Eddy, circa 1935 (14.8 x 8.1"). This promotional brochure touting the Lake Tahoe region features an attractive bird's-eye view of the lake with numerous resorts named and located along its shores. The rugged topography of the region is presented with a three-dimensional quality and text above the map indicates " No Poison Oak – No Rattlesnakes – No Harmful Insects at Lake Tahoe." Below the view is a road map of the broader region connecting Sacramento to Lake Tahoe as well as a smaller map of the state. Related text and illustrations on verso. This map, also published by the Lake Tahoe Sierra Association, is centered on Lake Tahoe and identifies numerous businesses along the shore, roads, railroads, peaks, and more. Printed in blue ink. The verso contains related text and a listing of hotels/resorts in the region. Self-folding into pictorial paper wrappers (3.9 x 9.0"). Condition: Clean and bright with two tiny separations along the sheet edges. (A)
