This humorous pictorial map of Southern California "as Seen from Fabulous Long Beach" was issued (not surprisingly) by the Long Beach Chamber of Commerce. "Long Beach's Own Private Sun" shines a light on all the wonderful things to do in the greater Long Beach area (which includes Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Pasadena and more) including "exciting nite life", a sun drenched beach, the "most beautiful girls in the world" (Long Beach hosted the Miss Universe pageant), Disneyland, Mt. Wilson, and much more. Everything outside of this "bright" region appears foreboding, including various types of smog, floods, "terrible roads", and a "bleak and tormented area." Copyrighted by Sarver-Witzerman. Verso contains related text and illustrations. Self-folding (4.0 x 9.0") into pictorial wrappers.
