This small map depicts the southern tip of Greenland and extends to include most of Iceland to the east and Baffin Island to the west. It shows good detail along the coastline, a trail network through the interior, and notation "Ridges of Mountains covered with perpetual Ice and Snow." There are additional notations in the sea including one along the southeastern coast, stating it is "inaccessible by reason of floating and fixed Mountains of Ice." Issued in Hans Egede's A Description of Greenland.
