This detailed map shows the region surrounding Rethel. The Meuse River extends along the right side of the map along with the cities of Sedan and Charleville-Mézières. The map is filled with hundreds of tiny towns and graphical depictions of mountains and forests. Three decorative cartouches adorn the map. Melchoir Tavernier's imprint also appears at bottom. French text on verso, published between 1639-44.
