This attractive plan on Paris was designed for the tourist with major buildings and important sites located and drawn with a three-dimensional effect including the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, the Louvre, and many more. Red lines throughout the city indicate railways in operation (solid line) and those under construction (dotted line). The verso contains a map of the broader region featuring the important churches, cathedrals, castles, and houses along with the transportation network to access these sites. Engraved by Poulmaire and published by Garnier. The map is accompanied by an 11-page French/English booklet giving the days and hours of admission for various sites, as well as a list of additional guides and dictionaries in dual languages available for purchase. Folds into red cloth boards (4.3 x 6.1") with gilt title and illustration on the front cover.
