This map is centered on Lake Geneva and shows the surrounding regions in France and Switzerland. The map is densely engraved with tiny towns, rivers, and topography. At top right is a bird's-eye plan of the fortified city of Geneva with a numbered key adjacent to the inset listing 58 locations. There is an alternate title above the map in French: "Carte du Lac de Geneve et des Pays Circonvoisins avec le Territoire de la Republique de Geneve et du Plan de la ditte Ville."
