This 8-page "Coronation Color Section" by Alonzo C. Webb was published in the April 22, 1937 issue of The Christian Science Monitor in advance of the coronation of George VI and Elizabeth on May 12, 1937. The centerfold of this section contains a lavish world map showing the extent of the British Empire in red overprinting, highlighting its territories across the globe. Ornate illustrations with gold accents surround the map including the coat of arms of Canada, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa with the United Kingdom's seal balancing the composition at top. Accompanying the map are full-page illustrations of the new royal family and text related to the coronation.
