This striking pair of maps of Western Africa span from Cape Blanco south to Cape Negro, including the Gold Coast. There are plenty of place names along the coastline and rivers. Each sheet includes a decorative title cartouche at bottom left. Engraved by G. Pitteri.

Condition: A

Both maps in full contemporary color. The "Occidentale" sheet has the watermark of three crescent moons and is clean and bright. The "Orientale" sheet has very minor toning and a bit of marginal soiling.
