A. Prints and Printmaking - An Introduction to the History and Techniques, by Antony Griffiths, published 1996 (7.5 x 9.7"). This is the revised and updated second edition of Griffiths' great work on printmaking. It covers a wide variety of techniques, from relief printing to photomechanical reproduction processes. Griffiths was the Keeper of the Department of Prints and Drawings at the British Museum from 1991 to 2011, so you would be hard-pressed to find a better guide through the subject. 160 pages. Soft covers. Condition: Minor shelf wear, otherwise fine. (A)

B. Curatorial Care of Works of Art on Paper, by Anne F. Clapp, published 1987 (7.0 x 9.3"). This useful volume features invaluable information for anybody - amateur collector and professional curator alike - interested in the basics of conserving art on paper. It is divided into three parts: Factors Potentially Harmful to Paper, Procedures, and Requirements for the Care of Paper, with two appendices, Suppliers and Materials and Equipment for Environmental Control and for the Workshop. 191 pages.
