Centered on Nuremberg with the surrounding countryside pictorially presented. The map is decorated with a large title cartouche surmounted by the trumpeting, female representation of Fame. The cartouche is composed of engraving and book binding tools representing the major trade of Nuremberg. At right is a large inset plan of the city with a key to the major buildings. French text on verso, published between 1643-50.

A nice impression with full contemporary color on a bright sheet with a bit of printer's ink reside and an archivally repaired tear in the right blank margin.
