This densely engraved map shows the region between the Dnieper and Dniester Rivers. Kiev (Kiiow) is located at the confluence of the Dnieper and Desna Rivers. The region to the east of the Dnieper is noted as "Ukrania Russa." The map is filled with tiny towns, political boundaries, and a lovely pastoral title cartouche.

A crisp impression with full contemporary color on a bright sheet with light toning and offsetting along the centerfold. There is a dampstain along the centerfold at left.
