This superbly decorated map is based on the work of Giacomo Cantelli da Vignola and is filled with details of cities, postal roads, and river systems. Two title cartouches fill the corners of the map with the title in Latin and Dutch, with the figures and symbols representing war and the arts. The central cartouche dedicates the map to Frederick William I of Prussia. Engraved by Gerrit Droogenham.

A dark impression, issued folding on a bright sheet with a double-headed eagle watermark. There are archival repairs to a few minor fold separations and tiny tears along the edges of the sheet, as well as some extraneous creasing in the top and bottom margins.
