This very uncommon sheet features two handsomely engraved maps of northern Italy. At left is a map of Bologna and its vicinity, based on Magini. The Via Emilia is depicted running through Modena, Bologna, Imola, and Faenza. The map at right centers on Vicenza, with cartography derived from Pigafetta. It extends as far north as Trento and as far south as Padua and Montagnana. A small but surprisingly detailed plan of Vicenza is enclosed in a cartouche at bottom left, with a separate cartouche identifying 35 sites of interest within the city. There is also a coat of arms beneath the title. Both maps include fine topographical detail and ornate cartouches. Only 925 copies of this map were printed. Italian text on verso, published in the edition of 1608 or 1612.
