This map depicts Amoy Bay in Fujian Province, now known as Xiamen Bay. The city of Xiamen is identified at letter "A." The map is oriented with north to the top left of the sheet, and is adorned with a strapwork cartouche and sailing ships. This map appeared in several publications, including Johan Van Twist's Generale Beschrijvinghe van Indien (1638) and Jan Jansson's Begin ende Voortgangh der Vereenighde Nederlantsche Geoctroyeerde Oost-Indische Compagnie (1646).
