This map of southern Asia is divided into kingdoms and includes parts of present-day India, Bangladesh, Burma, Laos, Thailand, China and Nepal. The mountainous topography of the region is graphically depicted, and there are numerous place names throughout. The mythical Lac de Chiamay is shown with 5 rivers flowing south. Adorned with a decorative drape-style title cartouche. Engraved by J. Somer.

A nice impression with contemporary outline color on a sheet with a large coat of arms watermark and light toning along the edges of the sheet. There are a couple of tiny worm tracks in the bottom margin.
