These two engravings appeared in Atlas Methodique et Elementaire de Geographie et d'Histoire, published by Louis Charles Desnos. The first sheet features six images representing the six days that it took for God to create the earth and heavens. The second sheet presents an elaborate scene of the formation of the universe. The decorative borders for each sheet were printed from a separated plate, making this a very expensive production for the publisher.
