Interesting double-hemisphere world map with polar projections. In North America, there is a large Island of California. Australia and New Zealand are shown with incomplete coastlines. Amsterdam is centered on the Northern Hemisphere at right and its corresponding point ("de Tegenvoeters van Amsterd.") is located on the Southern Hemisphere on the left. The map contains six smaller astronomical spheres with Ptolemaic and Brahe solar systems in the cusps of the hemispheres.
