Two gold region maps that show the Slate Creek Basin of Sierra County, just to the north of Lake Tahoe. Together they present valuable details including the location of numerous mines, tunnels, and ditches along with saw mills, schools, and housing. From Rossiter Raymond’s scarce 1874 report on the Mining Industry of the States and Territories of the Rocky Mountains.
