A stunning view of the Hudson River that measures approximately 5.5 feet wide. It is taken from a position close to West Point looking north, an area which George Washington once described as the most important strategic location in America. The view is unobstructed from development, with the river's glassy water dominating the scene along with several trees in the foreground and wooded mountain ridges in the background. Published by Ideal Wall Friezes in Germany. We found no past sales records or institutional holdings on OCLC.

Attractive color with a 1.5" edge tear at left, creases in the top left corner and at bottom right, and some dampstaining mostly along the right sheet edge. There is a bit of foxing along the left sheet edge and some minor edge chips at top right.
